“La Casa de las Titas” is a XIX Century Manor house even though it has parts and structures from the XVIII century. It is located in the old centre of Velez Malaga, capital of the Axarquia Malaga Region on the Eastern Costa de Sol.
The house has been restored in two phases, preserving and highlighting the architectural and structural values of the original house. In the first phase, the main part of the house was restored into the owner’s home. In the second phase, the owners restored with great passion the rest of the house where the Tourist Apartments are now.

The basic idea was to keep the idiosyncrasy of the buildings of those days in order not to lose the spirit of the original house and combine it with architectural traits of the XXI century. The result is a subtle mix between an old Andalucian house charm and today’s designs and amenities.
The house is known by the family as “La Casa de las Titas” (Our aunties’ house) because the uncles and particularly the maiden aunts of the family lived there most of last century.
For this reason, each of the nine apartments in the house is inspired by family members and the chores done in those days.
The apartments are fully furnished and equipped. They are decorated with simplicity and character, each apartment has its own layout in accordance with the building’s architecture.
