Among the minor buildings, the small shrines linked to the “Crosses” should be noted. Their function is to remind us of piety and popular nulligious beliefs.
Two of the original five small shrines still remain in Velez, one of which is the Cross of the Lamb, the most simple and yet the one with most devotion, located in the neighbourhood that kept its name. It consists of a small brick shrine which contains a simple wooden cross.
