Commemorative Building founded by the Royal Monarchs in 1487 in honor of the Royal horse keeper, Sebastian Fernandez, who according to tradition, saved King Ferdinand’s life in the sudden Muslim attack on the Christian camp during the taking of the city of Velez Malaga. The city shield scene shows the protagonist laying on the floor and the King on horseback trying to defend him.

From its original structures, very few elements that can be appreciated remain. Among them a pointed arch supported by strong pillars stand out which used to be the high chapel triumphal arch
