Almayate locality, the main farmstead in Nazar times, has a large beach on one of the few virgin areas that still remain on the Costa del Sol. The well known Bajamar Beach, a large non urban black sand extension where visitors can be in the nude should be mentioned.
It has low occupation with crops around. It reaches Velez river mouth which is at the beginning of Torre del Mar.
This is a large dark sandy beach with mild waves on a poorly developed area with a nudist section.
